- beatrice. one of my favorite
thrift finds. ever. i also decided to hang pink streamers from the rafters,
which may be one of my greatest decisions.
- sometimes waking up to kiss on
vinyl is just what this girl needs. gramma likes to borrow my record player on
the weekends and she puts on her records from when my dad was a boy. she's also
been really enjoying the records she's thrifted. waking up on sunday mornings
to the soft, scratchy music finding its way to my ears from upstairs, and the
smell of breakfast on the stove is the best alarm in the history of alarms.
- grams dresser. looking through her
things is like discovering treasure.
- i've lost count of the plants we
have scattered around the house. we are a-okay on oxygen. that's for sure.
- breakfast of champions for when i
need a quick boost. an everything bagel, fluffy cream cheese, topped with
wisconsin string cheese, and a handful of almonds. yum.
- much needed coffee fixes often
times lead me here.
- mini macaroons from trader joe's.
almost too pretty to eat. the coconut were my favorite, i think.
- almond cookies dipped in coffee
are heavenly. try it.
- there is no limit on my coffee
intake.
- far too many photos accumulating
on my phone are of the sky, but i cannot help it. i am always just amazed at
how beautiful it is.
- in the shadows, always reaching
for the sunshine.
- work attire, pale legs in need of
some vitamin d, and stolen haleigh shoes. sorry.
- olive garden salad after work to
make for a happy kaitlyn. perks of working right next door. i need to learn how
to duplicate their dressing. asap.
- movie dates and my favorite pair
of gramma shoes.
- italian wedding soup because i
could eat soup all day every day. and... sometimes i do just that.
- an ode to the lost- i hope you're
happy wherever you are.
- i have finished eleanor & park
and loved it. i didn't want it to end, but whaddya do? also, i started prozac
nation, but got distracted and read three books in between. at this point in
time, i have at least two books in my bed and also a few on my night stand.
- i am madly in love with this
coffee handbook. so neat! i live for stuff like this. someday i'd like to open
my own coffee shop, so this is a great read.
- i need to start journaling. and
this pink peony that i took about a million photos of before i pressed it.
- pressed daisy.
- more beauties to press. i went
around the block and our back yard and found as many pretties as i could.
- we keep binoculars out because
bird watching is a constant from our living room. if they cannot guess the
bird, they leave it to me to look it up.
- also, the cover of this book is
just fantastic.
- sis takes my bookmark and leaves
me with this. she could have at least left me the candy too...
- simple diy. surrounding myself
with uplifting words because my heart has been aching and i could really use
them. soak them up.
