ingredients:
1 box large rotini pasta
1 package imitation crab
bacon (however much you want! it's bacon!)
1 block of cream cheese
3/4c. milk
1/4c. minced garlic
1/4c. minced red onion (optional)
2tbs. parmesan cheese
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
here's how i did it:
in a large pot bring water to a boil and then add 1 box of large rotini pasta. while pasta is cooking, make your bacon. at our house, we use our handy dandy mak'n bacon microwave cooker. after bacon is cooked, chop bacon and crab into medium sized pieces and put into a bowl in the refrigerator until you're ready to use. drain pasta. warm milk in a medium sized pot on low heat. add block of cream cheese, minced garlic, red onion, and parmesan cheese to pot and stir until cream cheese is melted. if mixture is too thick, you may add more milk until you have the correct consistency. add meat and pasta. stir. cover pot for 5-10 minutes until hot. stir occasionally so the pasta doesn't stick to the bottom. add salt and pepper to taste. i like a little more zip to my pastas, so i put a little more salt and pepper than some people may like. you can also opt to use some veggies in your pasta as well. cook's choice, of course.
so there you have it! now, go and make yourself (and i suppose you should share some with your family, too) some delicious bacon seafood alfredo!
enjoy!
from our home to yours.
