a few years ago- my best friend, haleigh, gave me a ring with the same line engraved into the inner surface and i have worn it nearly every day since. my ring and i... we're pretty much a package deal.

last year for christmas, i purchased a necklace for my brother and because of his love for strumming along on the guitar and my love for these words, it was a guitar pick with the line "i carry your heart with me," pressed into the face of it. packaged along with it, a little note containing the rest of the poem and some sweet, sisterly, heart-felt words. you know the kind.

so as you can imagine, this poem has always held a significant amount of meaning for me when it comes to the special people in my little world. therefore, i figured it was only right to post it here and now along with some photos of the things + people that i love.
